Is your feature request related to a problem?
Currently the permissions are kept in xml files. It would be nice to enable an external query for users and groups such that someone can run a system in which they can assign users roles, then allow connections conditionally based off of (potentially?) time-limited entitlements, i.e. ticket purchases, or grant promotional items or area access for an event i.e. based on VIP level / ticket level
