I am assuming this is failing because the thetao is too large (time, depth, lat, lon) to download. It would help if I could add some time slicing logic as suggested in this issue. This isn't standard because the metadata records for datetime are often not correct.

We are starting to push the limits with this CI pipeline. Perhaps we need something to just regenerate a given request. That should be an easy enough fix
