Retain Channel State Across Console Restarts #14
Description
When the console starts up, all channels are reset to an “off” state by default. This requires users to manually re-enable channels and reconfigure audio levels each time the console is restarted.
Current Behavior:
- All channels default to off on startup.
- TX selections (CNTRL + LMB) are not preserved.
- Per-channel audio levels are reset.
Desired Behavior:
- Provide a configurable option to retain channel settings and status across restarts.
- When enabled, the console should restore:
- Channel on/off state
- Per-channel audio levels (and any other relevant channel-specific settings)
- TX selections (macros / keybinds)
Suggested Implementation:
- Add a button under the settings tab to toggle:
Retain channel state on startup
Impact / Benefits:
- Greatly improves usability
- Reduces repetitive setup after restarts or crashes.
