How to add registry

I spend more than 2 hours and I give up. This is the error I get

Command failed: echo rgp****C | docker login https://index.docker.io/v1 --username ser****no --password-stdin 
Error: Cannot perform an interactive login from a non TTY device

I cannot get how to solve it.

I was able to add it today without error. I used PAT as password.
