I'm trying to recreate my Dokploy environment on Proxmox and I need some advice on how to properly migrate my current setup. Currently, everything is on an Ubuntu server, and Dokploy is already configured and working, with several containers. I would like to:
Create a new VM on Proxmox.
Migrate the containers and data (both Dokploy and the containers) without losing anything important.
My main concern is losing data or configurations, especially because the original system has two disks:
Disk 1: OS and where Dokploy is installed
Disk 2: Dedicated to Docker (the containers are here)
I would like to know: what is the best way to perform this migration? I tried cloning the system with Clonezilla, but Docker doesn't work at all because it's only on the second disk (which I can't clone).
Does Dokploy offer any way to "transfer" everything it contains?
Perhaps it might be useful for you to know that I do weekly backups of Dokploy on Amazon S3 (backups that I see in website.com/dashboard/settings/server), but I think it's only the database? I'm not sure if it includes anything else.
Any advice on best practices, useful tools, or strategies to simplify the migration is greatly appreciated!
