I decided to try Windsurf after Cursor. When I first launched it, I got this error: “Failed to log in: ConnectError: [permission_denied] api server wire error: free user account exceeded, please use an existing account or upgrade to a paid plan.” I can't figure out what to do. Doesn't Windsurf have trial versions like Cursor?

Okay, I just chilled out for a day and everything worked. Windsurf still feels like a demo version of a project, not a full-fledged project. And how can I pay for a subscription to such a project if it's so poorly implemented?

This isn’t an error — it’s clearly just limiting free users from accessing the service. It’s probably for paid users only at the time u were trying to login. But it should still work if you restart it and click “Copy API Key” again.

Это не ошибка — очевидно, что сервис просто ограничивает доступ для бесплатных пользователей. Вероятно, это доступно только для платных пользователей в момент попытки входа. Но всё должно заработать, если вы перезапустите сервис и снова нажмёте «Копировать ключ API».

Yes, that sometimes helps. It really feels like the service is sometimes only available to premium users. Right now, I log into my account, start a chat, but can't send messages. Apparently, even Windsurf itself is telling me that I should take a break from work :D
