Font options in mkdocs.yml are crucial. While the default font is nice, the theme should allow customization of fonts (family, style, weight, etc.), particularly for headings and content.

Use Case

Font changing options in mkdocs.yml are more convenient than a CSS edit.

This can already be customized in all Mkdocs themes, simply by overriding the CSS styles of the theme itself. It's quite simple, I'll show you:

Steps

1: Create a file in this path: docs/assets/style.css.

2: Add the CSS style:

body {
    font-family: system-ui !important;
}

3: Include the following code snippet in the mkdocs.yml configuration file:

extra_css:
  - assets/style.css

Thank you for your tutorial. This is only a recommendation of changing the font without accessing CSS.
