Is FreeTube unable to not use SABR?

Since FreeTube is currently struggling to use SABR to stream videos, is it possible to have an option to rely on the "less-efficient" standard DASH options? Since right now I'm relying on yt-dlp to download videos and watch them, which has also worked during the BAD_HTTP_STATUS bug. I can also use yt-dlp to get URLs that can be streamed in the browser or VLC.

"Enforcing" seems to imply that YouTube is actively trying to stop clients from using standard DASH.
