I have read and reread the descriptions of the dungeon size multiplier settings and I'm having a hard time understanding some of it.
What I can understand so far:
- MaximumDungeonSizeMultiplier is affected by RestrictDungeonSizeScaler: It is used as a hard size cap if RestrictDungeonSizeScaler is set to 0.
What I don't understand:
- How MinimumDungeonSizeMultiplier is affected by RestrictDungeonSizeScaler
- What the "Level's Dungeon Size Multiplier" is in the context of all this. The minimum? The default/vanilla/author value?
Confusing setting description in question (for RestrictDungeonSizeScaler, with the word capitalizations removed since they screw with me so bad too):
If the level's Dungeon Size Multiplier is above or below the previous two settings, the Dungeon Size Multiplier will be set to the value between the level's Dungeon Size Multiplier and this value.
- Example # 1: If set to 0, the dungeon size will not be higher than [the] Maximum Dungeon Size Multiplier.
- Example # 2: If set to 0.5, the dungeon size will be between the Maxiumum Dungeon Size Multiplier and the level's Dungeon Size Multiplier.
- Example # 3: If set to 1, the dungeon size will be the level's dungeon size multiplier with no changes applied. (Minimum 0, Maximum 1)
Can anybody explain what exactly this means with different wording?
