Kong API Gateway for OpenShift OCP Workloads

Hi Team,

Is there any tentative planned GA for Kong Operator? As I am exploring options of API Gateway for OpenShift OCP.

Appreciate your inputs/feedback on this. As I see the Kong Operator is in technical preview.

@zoheb341 There's no ETA yet but we encourage you to move forward with exploring it :)

You can already install it through the kong/kong-operator chart if you want and let us know your findings.

@pmalek Thanks for your response. Actually we are in a state to finalize a solution for API Gateway and I believe Kong is one the leaders in this industry.

Can we use it for Production workloads? As it's Tech Preview, that's why I am bit hesitant on this.

It's not ready for production workloads. There will be an announcement for this when that happens.

Yes, but as a user you can refer to https://github.com/Kong/charts/tree/main/charts/kong-operator and tags in that repo (as that is what in the end gets released in the kong helm repo).
