Dockerize?

Can we dockerize this, similar to wyoming-satellite? Also is this previous ability documented here to connect to a local wyoming-openwakeword instance no longer available because this new project achieves the same benefit?

Yes, I would like to have docker image too as I can't simply install linux-voice-assistant on my distro because of dependencies.

Slightly off-topic but if was a Docker container then a cool use-case idea would be to built this as an add-on for Home Assistant OS:

That is, Home Assistant Operating System supports Container-based add-ons, so could then run both HAOS and that Linux Assistant Addon on the same Intel x86-64 mini-PC as an all-in-one solution (just as a proof-of-concept) as long as connect a USB-microphone (such as example the ReSpeaker XMOS XVF3800 USB 4-Mic Array or the ReSpeaker Lite USB 2-Mic Array).

Would also be awesome if it would be easy enough for anyone to test it on Home Assistant Green using any USB-headset.

Does it have access to USB Audio Device input so you can connect/use any USB Audio Class 2.0 device and can pick local audio-in source? That is, can you choose to use any USB microphone on a computer with Home Assistant Operating System like the official Home Assistant Green?

@Hedda Yes it uses the microphone attached to the haos server. If you have multiple mics or output you can select from the configuration section of the addon
