Missing "Window" menu on mac

This applies to the main branch, checked out today. It built and ran with no issues on mac, which is great! Only one problem: There is no Window menu (that should have been between the View and Help menus). So if I close the property tree subwindow (as I did) there is no way to get it back! I found a workaround, manually editing the preference plist file.

Thanks for the feedback. We do not have any inhouse developers on Mac, so it is difficult for us to test and fix the issue you report. You can have a look in the Mac section in the Qt docs and see if you find something useful.

I found this, that could perhaps be one cause:
QMenu objects used in the native menu bar are not able to handle Qt events via the normal event handlers. Install a delegate on the menu itself to be notified of these changes. Alternatively, consider using the QMenu::aboutToShow() and QMenu::aboutToHide() signals to keep track of menu visibility; these provide a solution that should work on all platforms supported by Qt.

Maybe the menu having not just traditional menu items, but click boxes, is the cause? As a workaround, are there keyboard shortcuts for showing (all, some, or single) tool/property windows?

If you right-click in the header of a dialog(Process Monitor, Project Tree, ...) or right-click anywhere in a toolbar, the following list controlling both toolbar and dialog visibility is displayed. Please let me know if this works as expected on Mac.

Reopening this, as it has not been resolved, and the workaround no longer works: the Window menu is still missing, and when I right-click on the toolbar I get only toolbar items, not the Project Tree etc.:

Not immediately, as I installed via Homebrew, using https://github.com/cssr-tools/homebrew-opm. Maybe @daavid00 can test it?
