The most reliable check is to run a Windows XP virtual machine with Samsung's driver and check how does it behave there. |

I don't know if this is even a Splix issue, but I'm hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction if it isn't.
When I use the manual feeder on my Samsung Ml-1710, the beginning of the print has an offset on the page. This does not occur when using the tray as the paper source. The top of the page appears about 15cm (6 inches) lower than where it should be.
I don't think it's a paper pickup issue since the offset was pretty much identical in my dozen of tests. Any guesses to what may be causing this? Could it be a software offset that needs to be different for the manual feeder since the paper path is shorter?
