2.0.2 claims Xerox WC 3215 support, but there's no "wc3215.ppd" (mentioned in "xerox.drv.in") anywhere - neither in the file list nor after building. |

The PPD files in this repository is a relic from the past, they are not getting updated or regenerated, and should not be used. I should delete them I guess. All the actual information is contained in You don't need a TL;DR: |

Are you referring to the absence of the file in splix/ppd directory, or after installation? It's definitely there with the default makefile, see the Github Actions output. splix/.github/workflows/build.yml Lines 65 to 66 in 4854286 If you want just to use SpliX, you can get the version from Github actions. It's compiled to be run on any distribution (as long as it's x86_64). |

All the actual information is contained in
*.drvfiles, which are generated from*.drv.infiles withmake drv, and PPD files could be generated from these*.drvfiles withmake ppd, if necessary.You don't need a
*.ppdfiles per se, the*.drvfile could be copied to/usr/share/cups/drv/[optional additional directory].make installshould handle all of that. Yes, i see that INSTALL does not mention these make targets, should be improved as well.TL;DR:
