More a list of TODOs than a Roadmap, but here are a number of items that are on the horizon (in no particular order):

Web App

Update frame settings from app (timer, brightness, etc)
Turn on/off frame display from app
Install/remove extensions from app
Update frame software from app
Add full artwork preview on image zoom, including artwork details
Add description for artworks
Associate artworks with 'author' user
Search / filter artwork
Create and subscribe to artwork channels
Allow users to have multiple collections (tags)

Better documentation on creating / installing plugins
Example hardware UI extension
Example sensor artwork extension
Animated GIF extension
OpenMax (Video) extension

Frame

Create an Openframe-ready disk image for easy setup
Boot to openframe
Custom 3D-printable power plug adaptor for display and RPi power
