What new functionality would you like to see?

I would like to be able to modify the .envrc file to add additional watch_file directives without triggering the Your repository files are out-of-date with the current version of the Panfactum stack message.

While the watch_file is the current use case, it would be optimal to be able to configure the file more generally and have the pf-update reconcile changes without destructive overwrite when possible.

How would you use this new functionality?

For the current use case, I would like to add a watch to .pre-commit-config.yaml in order to reload the shell on changes to that file.
