How is everyone gathering info/making csvs readable

Any programming I do is hobbyist stuff. My friend and I are working on an app that'll use this API, which is why I've been contributing data.

I'm enjoying it, especially since the stuff I'm doing so far is fairly niche (colo, events, etc).

However, when looking at stuff like encounter slots, It can be a small struggle to keep everything linked and know which value points to where. Right now I'm using vscode to edit stuff, and for these encounter slots I made every change manually.

Above is an example of what I mean-- It can be easy to get lost.

So my question is: Are there any extensions where I can leave comments/notes to point stuff out, and what ways do you all gather data like locations/encounter slots that isn't manual recording. Thanks!
