Error pulling in old Custom App

I tried running
now-sdk init --from sys_id
on an old app and I get this error

[now-sdk] ERROR: The sys_app record is missing in directory: /tmp/nowsdk/app. Check the sys_app record in directory, and try again.

The app seems to be in sys_app table. The app was created in 2021.

Can you look at the instance logs to see if there are any errors ? you can look for Exceptions from AppPackager. Or you can create a case in support.servicenow.com and we can login to the instance and check
