Is there a way to launch WinMerge so it opens automatically in the Ctrl+N “New Document” text comparison view instead of the folder/file selection dialog? I haven’t found a setting or command-line option for this — is there a solution or workaround? |

You can start WinMerge directly in a new text comparison window by using the following command: This will automatically open the same “New Document” view as pressing Ctrl+N after launching WinMerge. |
