[R] Feature request: More silent build

Congratulations on a smooth landing of 0.8.0 on CRAN!

Now, without additional flags, installation of the R package generates pages of output on the console:

$ grep ^XTRAFLAGS ~/.R/Makevars; R CMD INSTALL nanoarrow_0.8.0.tar.gz  2>&1 | wc -l
2201
$ grep ^XTRAFLAGS ~/.R/Makevars; R CMD INSTALL nanoarrow_0.8.0.tar.gz  2>&1 | wc -l
XTRAFLAGS=-Wno-unused-const-variable -Wno-misleading-indentation
47
$ 

I understand that this may be mostly generated code but is there a chance to generate it in a way that keeps it to the screenful of 47 lines?

I am guessing that would be the flatcc generated header. In a previous version I had hard-coded a fix but I think we updated the generated bits for a new data type in the meantime.
