goatcounter.com site appears to be down

Several places in the documentation refer to goatcounter.com - eg, https://www.goatcounter.com/code

The whole site appears to be down, at least for me in the UK, which makes it difficult to configure this.

Are these docs also available on github?

Yep down for some days in the US. Ended up self-hosting it, instead. Works swimmingly.

This prompted me to re-check and this turns out to be a local issue. I can now see the domain and the documentation.

The problem was that I run AdBlockHome and goatcounter.com is now on its default list of trackers that it blocks. These lists are shared between blockers so I imagine it'll also be blocked for those running pihole and similar, and commercial firewalls. Easy to understand why - it is a tracker after all.

This obviously wouldn't affect users self-hosting it on their own domains, but anyone using goatcounter.com for stats will be getting lower numbers as visitors using adblockers will not register their visit.

Also, having documentation on there instead of github makes it more likely to be blocked for users who, like me and maybe @W0CHP , might be confused.

Anyone - definitely not an issue with goatcounter.com itself but not closing issue immediately in case this information is useful to others. No problem if triage team do want to close it though!
