Add Image from a Media Library without Avo

if we have a media library at say /admin/media, is it possible to add images to marksmith from it like you do with Avo? It seems the code in marksmith is tightly coupled with avo specifically, but maybe we can override it to set gallery as enabled and add the gallery path? And then create an endpoint with the correct format json within the app for marksmith to use for the image picker.

Yes, that's doable but you need to write your own StimulusJS controller.
This is the controller that we use.

We don't use any custom, proprietary, "private" code. It's all here on GitHub.
