Description
Describe the bug
While viewing an in-progress meeting (Meeting Analytics → Meetings → select meeting), enabling Auto Scroll keeps forcing the entire page to the bottom every time a new transcript segment arrives. This prevents you from scrolling up to see other widgets (Voice Tone, Meeting Attributes, etc.) during a live meeting.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Go to Meeting Analytics → Meetings and open a meeting that’s still in progress.
- Leave Auto Scroll enabled (default) in the Meeting Transcript header.
- Try to scroll up the page while transcript entries continue to stream in.
- Observe that the browser jumps back to the bottom of the whole page whenever new text arrives.
Expected behavior
Auto Scroll should keep only the Meeting Transcript pane pinned to the latest utterance, letting the rest of the page remain scrollable. Manually scrolling inside the transcript should pause auto-scroll until the user resumes.
Additional context
Issue appears on v0.2.0 (Launch Stack deploy) using Chrome 121 on macOS (also repro on Edge). Root cause is that the transcript component calls scrollIntoView on a sentinel div outside the scroll container, which scrolls the entire document. I have a fix ready that confines scrolling to the transcript pane—happy to open a PR referencing this issue.
