Count Number of Open Branches

It would be helpful if there was a badge that showed the number of open branches in the GitHub mirror of the codebase.

🎤 Motivation

Some of my group projects have a large number of branches that get untracked. This would help us better manage it.

We might be able to use this API call

query {
  repository(owner: "OWNER", name: "REPO") {
    refs(refPrefix: "refs/heads/", first: 1) {
      totalCount
    }
  }
}

This will use exactly one API call and return only what we need.
I will note I have not tested this yet to see it work.

Regarding the motivation, Remember that this project is for the community and so should a motivation for a badge be for the developer community benefit. That said, I could see how some developers might find this useful to have a salient display of the number of branches if they use branches to track the status of features or WIP.

If anyone wants to PR this, I will be happy to review.
If I find some time for this in recent weekends I might open a PR.
