Document output groups

We should document the output groups that are provided e.g. gen_dir so that end users know how to extract the entire install tree as would be created by using the tool natively.

Could be worth adding an example showing how to use output_group to package the outputs via rules_pkg?

@jsharpe Out of curiosity, could you provide some examples of such directories? I'm trying to write a genrule that pulls in headers generated by rules_foreign_cc and I can't figure out how to reference them

I don't think there is a specific OutputGroup for the headers at the moment (PRs welcome!)
You can extract the full install tree via:

filegroup(
   name = "install_tree",
   srcs = ":my_rules_foreign_cc_target",
   output_group = "gen_dir",
)

You can then copy just the include directory in your genrule
