How can I use the local calendar from the android device in davx5 ?

You can use any calendar app you want (that supports the Android calendar provider), for instance Etar or your vendor's calendar app (see the image on https://www.davx5.com/faq/system-integration).

For Google Calendar, there are some steps you have to do before you can use it: https://www.davx5.com/faq/calendars/google-calendar-can-i-use-davx5-with-google-calendar

The task is to synchronize the local calendar with davx5 on a CalDav server. I have no problem displaying the local calendar. I don't see any way to connect to the local calendar from davx5.

1. You can export the events in your calendar app, and then import the resulting file again into a synced DAVx5 calendar.
2. Or you can copy the events directly from the local calendar to a synced DAVx5 calendar.

Not all calendar apps support these operations. You can for instance try aCalendar+ which can export/import.
