If the menu doesn't take up the whole screen, users might want to draw other things. In this case, it would be nice to:
- know how big certain menu UI elements are
- what area can be used to draw to
- maybe even provide standard points of expansion for users - i.e. draw an icon next to the title, draw something after the last menu item, etc.
