I'm instreasted, if having the "caelestia-shell" version and on top just downloading the "-git" one will crash anything? Or do i need to delete the "caelestia-shell" first and THEN the git one |

If you download any package that is conflicting with another package, the package manager will ask you to remove the conflicting package during install. Responding with no will simply cancel the installation process. |

So in short: The package manager will remove the existing package for you, should you decide to install a different (conflicting!) one - which you are doing in this case.
And no, you can not have both packages at the same time (using the package manager)
