task_await doesn't catch finishing of long tasks

I'm currently on v0.21.1-nightly.74-3-g3f9a9b9e-dirty but this was on 0.21.0 too

I see that very often on longer tasks (rebuild compose stack, compile big source code, etc) task_await stucks at 0/1 and never resolves, and hence agent is not poked and loop doesn't continue
