127-127: 📐 Maintainability & Code Quality | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick winPut the two replacement scenarios in a test table.
The mixed-plan and no-reported-cause scenarios use separate assertions. Please use named cases with
args, want, and a reason field. Compare each case’s full output so the test also checks the no-reported-cause summary. As per path instructions, “Enforce table-driven test structure ... args/want pattern” and “Check for proper test case naming and reason fields.” Thank you for adding coverage for both scenarios.🤖 Prompt for AI Agents

distinguish resources with reported paths from those without. Count plans
separately based on whether ReplacePaths is populated, emit the field-specific
warning only for resources with paths, and retain the missing-cause warning for
resources lacking paths.

Description of your changes
The approximate (client-side) fallback diffed the manifest verbatim against the live resource, so fields the cluster sets on its own planned as removals:
Neither field is in the manifest, and neither would be removed by applying it: the API server defaults them right back on admission. The honest plan is a no-op.
xr.ApplyCRDDefaultsroutine. A manifest omittingdeletionPolicy, managementPolicies, providerConfigRef, etc. now diffs equal against the defaulted live object.managedFieldsand only plans a live-only field as a removal when a declarative applier (SSA manager, or kubectl client-side apply) owns it. Fields owned by the provider's controller (late-init, external tags) or by nobody (admission defaults) survive an apply and stay out of the plan. Also fixes the replace rendering for the diff-server path: a plan can be a replace whose forcing attribute the server does not report as a field (a collection count change, or a parameter behind an unresolved Secret ref). The warning now says the provider did not name the forcing field instead of printing an empty list, and a forcing change with no reportable values renders as
! field: (value not reported) # forces replacementinstead of being dropped. Both fixes are best effort and fail open: no fetchable CRD means the diff runs undefaulted, and no managedFields means removals are taken at face value, as before.
