Is non-shell an abandoned area?

We still haven't migrated our app to shell, since we have some issues with it and it's also pretty much work to do the migration for us.
However, we start find issues like this

A rather major issue in non-shell that doesn't even get an answer from the maui-team.
We'd need to know if the non-shell path is more or less abandoned when it come to bug fixes. If this is the case, I see no other way for us then to migrate ASAP. If non shell will still be a supported way of creating apps, we'd probably like to stay there for a while and prioritize other work.

CoPilot redirected me to the roadmap .NET 10, I think more focus is on Shell, then not.

Yes, for sure. What we need to know is if the non shell related issues have any attention at all.
But I start to realize I won't get any official answer to this. Silence is the Microsoft way of confirming this is the case. :(

Looking at the issue you mention above, there is stilness there, so I guess you are right. I guess you would preffer somebody would say no, it will not be done, then silence.

My iOS app is deved by non shell, my case is still using page's navigation to push to new page.
I'm not sure what's your concern, navigation or just flyout you mentioned in the issue.
My suggestion is you can find some other ui components if your concern just the flyout one.
The case about navigation is fine in my side.

I've spent some time on this issue, and created a PR with a fix. #31971
We will see whether it'll be merged, but hey. If theres an issue one can always fix it by himself ;)
