Linting and formatting

I would like to help with getting linting and formatting (Ruff) running for the repo. I see that there are already Ruff configurations in pyproject.toml. Are these the intended configurations for the project, or do they need to be refactored before fixing the formatting and any other issues identified by Ruff?

Hi @esadek, thanks for the offer of help! We have linting and formatting standards for duckdb that I still need to integrate with the python repo and CI. The current setup is mostly just a placeholder. It's high on my todo list and since reviewing / fixing contributions in this area is likely a similar amount of work I suspect this isn't the best use of our time. I do appreciate the offer though! If there's another area where you'd like to contribute then let me know.
