Adding Extensions To Private Registry Instance

Hi,
I have successfully deployed an openvsx instance in our staging environment. My question is, how can I select some extensions (let's say by name) and add those into my openvsx instance? Would I need a PAT for tihs? If I do, How do I create one? If you need more info from me just let me know. Thanks in advance.
I do not have any values for security oauth2 in my application.yml
