The server log contains a lot of these warnings that not really helpful as they dont indicate the endpoint or media type that is used by the client to trigger the error:
[open-vsx-org-production-5959654964-g98sv open-vsx-org] 2025-12-19T14:25:30.945Z WARN [openvsx-server,4b4fa3876eea99983df0416da4439bf9,688babb7d9337e91] 1 --- [openvsx-server] [1629827491-1416] [4b4fa3876eea99983df0416da4439bf9-688babb7d9337e91] .w.s.m.s.DefaultHandlerExceptionResolver : Resolved [org.springframework.web.HttpMediaTypeNotSupportedException: Content-Type is not supported]
We should add an exception handler for that kind of exceptions to suppress them and / or give a clearer warning.
I suspect this will be about bots or agents that access endpoint without the proper content type.
