Explore Diversity Generators #4

Description

Richard Dawkins accidentally created the field of memetics with his demo evolutionary program, biomorphs, that accompanied his popular book Blind Watchmaker which followed Selfish Gene and Extended Phenotype. (Strangely I picked up the last one at an airport bookstore and became a Dawkins fanboy.)

The Flagmatic uses no more than uniformly distributed random numbers to create candidate flags. We can do better. How abut a genome that generates appropriate family resemblance while evolving towards the site owner's subconscious ideal. Dawkins did amazing things with a dozen "genes". Let's match that.

Mike points out a possibly related paper. TL;DR, for the moment.
