Registration not possible

Describe the bug
I downloaded the app (version 1.4.0) from FDroid and were not able to register. Whenever I enter a email I receive the following error:

Attempt to invoke virtual method 'boolean java.lang.Boolean.booleanValue)' on a null object reference

To Reproduce

1. Go to FDroid and Download 'Eventyay Organizer App'
2. Start app

Expected behavior
Ability to register.

For this bug report I replaced my email by this example email. The error is the same.

Smartphone Info:

Device	Google Pixel 6 Pro
Android Version	13

Additional context
Tried it with and without VPN (NordVPN).
I also tried to install a older version, but this could not be installed.
