Description

When entering the first character using IME (Japanese input method) in a table cell on Safari, the table structure breaks and becomes corrupted.

Environment

  • Browser: Safari 18.6
  • OS: [Your OS version]
  • Froala Editor Version: [Your version]
  • Input Method: Japanese IME

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Froala Editor in Safari 18.6
  2. Insert a table
  3. Click on an empty table cell
  4. Start typing Japanese characters using IME
  5. The table structure breaks immediately upon entering the first character

Expected Behavior

The table should maintain its structure while entering Japanese text via IME, just as it does with direct alphabet input.

Actual Behavior

The table structure breaks when the first IME character is entered (see attached screenshot).

Additional Notes

  • This issue only occurs on Safari
  • The issue does not occur when entering alphabet characters directly
