I don't see any usage of shared_ptr in your commit ? How does this PR relates to the hawtjni PR ?

Yes, this PR does not relate with the hawtjni PR.

The PR add the new functionalites which is present in rocksdb but not currently supported by rocksdbjni, functionlities like Keymayexist, Single delete for write Batch

Please consider the PR to merge.

Maybe you should investigate switching to the official rocksdb java support which is available since RocksDb 3.5.0, 4 years ago:
