additional notes, using a vpn fixes the issue or using a different network, and all the other apps (newpipe, skytube,etc) don't work either but the youtube app does.
this seems to be a youtube side change, as this problem in not isolated to one device

on a side note to myself, imma make the bug report for video veiws not showing up later, as it is not critical to the apps functionality

i should note that this not loading has been happening for 2 days now, and videos taking several minutes to load have been off and on for about 2 weeks before that, i just have been super busy and not had the time to submit reports on them yet

For the moment I hooked another router to my network as a solution, but who knows how many people have the same problem lol

Try enabling Android VR streams that should help.

@Zvonimir-FUTO this has been affecting me as well since this ticket was raised and has completely disabled YouTube for me. Everything says it's waiting for media to become available, then says the duration is -12:-55 and nothing happens.

I've tried a force shut down of the app and even my phone. Nothing has worked.

hmm, also note that this might be an intermittent issue as it started working for me again after a couple days, but if other people are having the issue i'll keep the ticket open
