Don't mean to come off as a jerk. If I have, my apologies for that. I really appreciate everyone who works on and contributes to Authentik as it is an amazing product. Just think that some of these changes need a bit more work. |

For context, on 2025.10.1, this is how it looks: It doesn't have anywhere near the same uniformity of style or clean look as it did before. |

After the 2025.10 update, the application icons now longer have the nice drop shadow, are scaled in such a way that what looked fine before is now blown up to be too fuzzy, and the application/source icons look oddly disproportionate to the text sizing now. It also seems that previously unaffected application names are now being aggressively concatenated.
No offense to whoever worked on this. I understand that it makes it more functional on mobile devices, but it went from looking really clean and professional to looking a little tacky with multiple factors making it look slightly off. Like the drop shadow/glow was a really nice touch (and to an extent made lower res icons look good) and it's a shame to see it go (not to mention that generally glow is pretty hard to pull off in a way that looks good and Authentik did it). Yes, it was something that was non-user-defined behaviour, but it still looked good.
Thoughts?
EDIT: The aggressive concatenation is worse on mobile, likely because it is fitting three application icons across. Two would be more reasonable and user-friendly. The way that three are displayed is a bit much and hard to navigate.
