Question: Statsd, OTEL and Mimir

We're working on implementing Mimir, OTEL and statsd, but running into a problem. I've enabled the statsd receiver in our OTEL Contrib Colletors and we're able to send statsd metrics to it with no problem. Histograms, Timers and Guages all show up with no effort, however Counters do not show up.

Those work just fine, but when I do similar with a counter, the metrics never shows up in Mimir.

echo "test.counter:1234|c" | nc -u -w0 $NODE_IP 9125

I've found the metric showing in the OTEL collector:

but no corresponding metric shows up in Mimir.

Right now looking for some direction as to where to go from here.
OTEL Collector: 0.125.0
Mimir Version: 2.15.2

Note, I've tried this with
IsMonotonic: true enabled AND disabled to no avail.

We found the issue, and it's not a mimir problem specifically, but an OTEL exporter issue with how it handles Counters.
