QueryRange and OpenMetrics response

Hello there!

Working on a project I need to be able to use different data sources, the first one being a metrics provider (scrapped by prometheus), the second one being mimir query_range api endpoint.

For code maintainability, I do want to leverage the OpenMetrics format produced by our data source. As far as I know, there is no way to get a raw OpenMetric report from mimir out of our prometheus instance.

I've not been able to find an acceptable header value to skip the json wrapper, but I may have missed a point.

If not, this may be a valuable feature.

Someone to enlighten me?
