Personally I feel like in the gutter should be the default, I don't see the reason why we'd have the wrap marker not in the gutter. I wasn't here when it was originally implemented though, so maybe there was a reason 🤷 |

I've added a
soft-wrap.indicator-on-gutterconfig option, so that whensoft-wrapis enabled and theline-numbergutter is visible, the wrap indicators can be displayed on the gutter rather than as part of the document.Resolves: #14802
