The challenge — real usage cases for dolphin-mcp-pilot

dolphin-mcp-pilot is an open-source MCP tool layer for Apache DolphinScheduler. It wraps projects, workflow definitions, instances, task instances, schedules, resources, logs, monitoring and the raw API into MCP tools, so any MCP-capable agent (Claude Code / OpenClaw / Cursor / CodeBuddy / Claude Desktop) can discover and call them.

Your task: use dolphin-mcp-pilot + any MCP host to get one real DolphinScheduler ops job done, write it up as a usage case, and publish it on a public channel (Xiaohongshu / X / 掘金 / CSDN / 知乎 / Bilibili / YouTube / a blog…). Then submit it via PR into the repo's cases/ gallery.

NL ops	Operate DS in plain language — offline / pause instances without the console
Incident firefighting	Read task logs, force-success / skip, rerun-from-failure — end to end
One-line workflow creation	A sentence or a SQL snippet → a real SQL/DAG workflow, brought online

🗓 Timeline

• PR deadline: Aug 23 (by PR creation time)
• Judging & payout: Aug 24 – Aug 30

✅ Eligibility & acceptance

• The one hard gate: in the PR's code-change record, women contributors ≥ 50%.
• Real usage — at least one screenshot / short recording showing the agent's request + the dolphin-mcp-pilot tool call/result. No mock-ups.
• A public, non-login-walled post, linked in the case frontmatter channels:.
• Original content; no secrets (redact tokens, X-DS-* values, internal hosts/IPs).
• Not for accounts that opened PRs in ≥ 3 unrelated bounty repos in the last 30 days.

📝 How to submit

1. Publish your case on a public channel (image/text or short video, directly reachable).
2. Fork the repo, copy cases/TEMPLATE/ to cases/<your-case-id>/.
3. Fill in README.md (frontmatter + story + screenshots + the public link).
4. Open a PR — suggested title [case] <case-id> — <one line> — and write Closes #25 in the description.

After merge, github-actions[bot] auto-posts a Reward data comment on the issue and tags your merge commit for payout.

🔎 Worked example — what a solid submission looks like

Incident firefighting: Astron Agent v1.1.1 → dolphin-mcp-pilot v0.3.0 → Apache DolphinScheduler 3.2.2.
FAILURE → read the failed task logs → human-fix the external dependency → one ds_rerun_from_failure → keep polling to a real SUCCESS (run count 1 → 2).

The point of a great case is honesty about boundaries: submitted ≠ recovered, and next_action is a static hint, not a model diagnosis. Show the tool call, the result, and the final state.
