Any way to tag certain words in the yml files that shouldn't be translated?

Is there any way to tag certain words in the yml file that shouldn't be translated? Like proper names or site names? For example, if I have:

en:
  hello: "Hello from github!"

I don't want it to try to translate github...

There's not a way to ignore specific words. That's a good idea. Any thoughts on how to exclude specific terms?

I wonder about creating a stopword file. Any words in that file would be ignored when you translate.
