Search not working: on both sites api.jquery.com and jquery.com

On both sites https://api.jquery.com/ and https://jquery.com/ SEARCH string not working:
It doesn't show any hints, even press Enter doesn't start the search.

I try with Opera and Firefox browsers.

Thanks for opening an issue. Search is working for me on both sites in Firefox and Chromium (Opera). My guess is that the search might have more strict geoblocking. @Krinkle do have any other theories?

Yes, It's true - geoblocking. :-( (insane sanctions)
Now I tried it with VPN - all works fine!
So, for now, the search will remain blocked, am I correct? Do I need to close this issue?

@Sega100500 What do you get when visiting https://typesense.jquery.com/health directly? (Please check it after confirming once more that search does not work on https://jquery.com, just in case.)

As a general rule we don't have geoblocks, but we do have various security rules in Cloudflare that can sometimes misclassify pretty wide ranges of IP addresses as "suspicious" and impose some kind of rate limit or block. However, I don't see an obvious security rule that would apply to search.

The search widget depends only on a static JS served on the same domain, and then connects to a non-Cloudflare service.

I don't mean to say anything bad, but we have less and less control over "what we want" — someone else (Cloudflare ?) decides for us.
It's not funny anymore...

What does "don't open" mean? Please include a complete error message or screenshot.

This means exactly what it means: the link doesn't open, there's a constant wait for it to open, the progress indicator spins on the tab, but the page doesn't open. But there's no 404 message. It's just an endless wait, but the page doesn't open.

@Sega100500 I believe that is caused by an issue with your computer (or router, or internet provider). It's not clear which one, but I'd try the following:

• Have you tried another browser on the same device, such as Apple Safari or Microsoft Edge?
• A smartphone browser on the same WiFi?
• If you use any third-party firewalls or virus scanners like Kaspersky or Intel Killer Control, try turning these off to test if they might be causing the issue. If it works when you turn them off, there is probably one specific setting inside them that is breaking certain websites. You'd want to report the issue to them instead. See also mozila.org support, kaspersky.com forum, codeorigin.jquery.com support.
• In Firefox Settings > Privacy & Security, set DNS-over-HTTPS to "Increased Protection" and provider NextDNS (or another of your choice). If this fixes the issue, it means your computer (or router, or internet provider) may have a bug in its DNS configuration, and you may want to report the issue to your internet provider instead. The DNS-over-HTTPS feature in Firefox bypasses the DNS configuration of your computer in favor of a secure and more stable DNS proxy provided via Mozilla.
