manual installation - where is kairos-agent?

I'm learning Kairos. While reading about Manual installation https://kairos.io/docs/installation/manual/ The document says: sudo kairos-agent manual-install --device "auto" config.yaml It's unclear to me, I'm installing the OS on a new machine, the OS doesn't exist yet, where is the kairos-agent and where do I store the config.yaml file?

In the case of the config file, in the manual it says:

Save this file as config.yaml and pass it to the kairos agent during the installation process. just a few lines before the install command with links to the full configuration guide.

Thank you @Itxaka for the response. Looks like my initially question wasn't clear. Let me clarify it. I did read/watch the getting started couple times, it's about the interactive installation and it's straight forward. I'd like to explore alternative ways. When I read the document about Manual Installation, and I face the chicken-and-edge problem. Let's say, I prepare a cloud init config.yaml file on my laptop. I download an ISO file and flash it to an USB drive. Now I want to install Kairos on another PC. The document says pass the file to the kairos agent during the installation process. I understand that the kairos-agent CLI program is available in the running machine but only after Kairos is installed on that machine. But I have a blank machine to install, how can I pass the file that I saved on my laptop to the kairos-agent CLI on the machine that has not yet had the installed OS.

When you boot from the USB drive that you created, you are in "livecd mode" of Kairos and kairos-agent is available there and there is SSH available (default credentials: kairos/kairos). You can scp your config to the machine and call kairos-agent manual-install config.yaml afterwards (in the ssh shell).
