Network shares aren't visible in KeepassXC under Debian 12 KDE-Plasma

Hi,
I am using an older laptop with Debian 12 linux. Under Cinnamon desktop all network share, that I have connected via the Cinnamon file explorer are available in the KeePassXC file open dialogue window.

I have switched to KDE Plasma desktop: when I connect my SMB share via Dolphin (KDE's default file explorer), the network shares aren't visible/accessible via KeePassXC file open dialogue.

Maybe someone has a hint for me to solve this issue? I have stored my keepass safe on a SMB share on my synology NAS, but I cannot access it any longer.

If you are using the snap, you need to enable the permission to use media drives.

Thanks, but it seems that KeepassXC is installed as native "app" here, not via snap (snapd isn't installed)...

Then this would be an issue with your file system manager. We dont do anything special regarding access to files. You can try mounting the share to an accessible directory if not already. Should be mounted to /mnt or /media

I've had the same issue and found a work-around: Right-click the database file in Dolphin and select "Open with KeePassXC". KeePassXC will remember the database's location, so whenever you start the program you can simply select the database in it.
