Feature Enhancement: SCSI IDs instead of the one hard-coded Mac hard drive

It'd be extra groovy to be able to have two (or more, but I really want two) hard drive files mounted at the same time. Like, if I have a folder of games on one hard disk and want to copy it to another. Or just have a second disk with the games on it and different system volumes.

As you probably know, but I have to google all the time, the syntax for having multiple connected hard disks is complicated. It looks like this:

-scsi:6 harddisk -harddisk '/path/to/hdafile1.hda' -scsi:5 harddisk -harddisk2 '/path/to/hdafile2.hda'

If you click on the Disk Drives hamburger submenu, you can edit the SCSI settings and add 5 extra hard drives (-scsi:3 is hard-coded to be a CD-ROM).

Wow! I'm dumb!! Awesome!

I tried to use that text entry field up above the list of disks to type stuff in like my original request but it always just turns an angry red. What does that do? (Or tell me to RTFM, if you'll guide me to the FM...)

There isn't a manual and none of this stuff is documented anywhere.

The angry red text field is for MAME's software list, eg "System Software 7.5" which would look for a file named "mac750.zip" in your mame folder and boot it.
