V2ContainerResourceMetricSource

ContainerResourceMetricSource indicates how to scale on a resource metric known to Kubernetes, as specified in requests and limits, describing each pod in the current scale target (e.g. CPU or memory). The values will be averaged together before being compared to the target. Such metrics are built in to Kubernetes, and have special scaling options on top of those available to normal per-pod metrics using the "pods" source. Only one "target" type should be set.

Properties

Name Type Description Notes
container str container is the name of the container in the pods of the scaling target
name str name is the name of the resource in question.
target V2MetricTarget

Example

from kubernetes.client.models.v2_container_resource_metric_source import V2ContainerResourceMetricSource

# TODO update the JSON string below
json = "{}"
# create an instance of V2ContainerResourceMetricSource from a JSON string
v2_container_resource_metric_source_instance = V2ContainerResourceMetricSource.from_json(json)
# print the JSON string representation of the object
print(V2ContainerResourceMetricSource.to_json())

# convert the object into a dict
v2_container_resource_metric_source_dict = v2_container_resource_metric_source_instance.to_dict()
# create an instance of V2ContainerResourceMetricSource from a dict
v2_container_resource_metric_source_from_dict = V2ContainerResourceMetricSource.from_dict(v2_container_resource_metric_source_dict)
